Observations on the World

Walking past the Trading floor (the big open part of the office where they talk to NYSE, NASDAQ, FINRA, and assorted other financial alphabet soup) this morning, I noticed the news creeper said "Egypt's Mubarik is in poor health...."

I immediately thought, "As opposed to Hoboken's Mubarik...." It was immediately followed by "I really don't think he's Egypt's Mubarik any more. They certainly don't want him."

The Newsweek article on him in this week's edition is...interesting. I think it shows how the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
