I always thought she had one of the sexiest voices in Hollywood.

Edward Woodward has died.

Excellent actor, who I will always remember as the retired British spy from "The Equalizer."

Senator Kennedy has died.

He is sadly known for the terrible event at Chappaquiddick Bridge, but he did quite a bit for the country and the State of Massachusetts. Good night, Senator.

So, John Hughes left while I was off the grid. Mr. Hughes gave us a lot of movies, most of which I found kind of "meh," but "The Breakfast Club" told me something important about tolerance. For that, I am grateful. For the movies about an annoying little kid committing cartoon violence on adults ... well, Macaulay Culkin had to start somewhere.

I think this post is a fitting tribute. Good night, Mr. Hughes.

Dave Arneson, co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons and creator of the Blackmoor game setting, has died. I'd link to details, but my work computer blocks the site.

One of the funniest second bananas in the business has died. With Tim Conway and the other members of the Carol Burnett Show, he made me laugh hard enough to hurt, and he was strong enough to play opposite Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder. He will be missed.

Just remember, it's HedLEE Lamarr....
